Warranty

All Mad in Italy products carry a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of sale. Email us at sales@madinitaly.com for more information.

A manufacturing defect is broadly defined as any defect that is derived from a  manufacturing process that does not allow the product to function as originally intended.

The following defects are not considered to be manufacturing defects:

  • Scratched lenses, fronts and temples after the initial post production inspection, as noted above;
  • Product broken or damaged intentionally;
  • Product broken by accidental damages;
  • Product subjected to conditions outside of its intended use.

If you believe that your product has suffered from a manufacturing defect please email us at sales@madinitaly.com and we can help you.  A proof of purchase will be requested as part of the warranty process.

If you made your purchase in store, please contact the retailer where you purchased your frame.

At the end of the Warranty Period (24 months from the date of purchase), any maintenance or repair service will be at your expense, subject to any legal warranties you may have.

If the damage is not due to a defect in material or manufacturing, additional repair costs may apply. In this case you will receive an email or letter notifying you of these additional costs. You may choose to accept the repair of the goods by bearing the relevant costs or to have the product returned to you by Mad in Italy in the same condition as it was when you sent it to Mad in Italy. In this context, shipping costs cannot be refunded.
